zip wire length?

Posted by: john, 19-Aug 18:11
I want to stirng a zip wire up for the kids, but the two points are quite a way apart. I assume that the wire will sag in the middle when being used, which means that I will have to have the end points really quite high, which might not be possible.

I have thought of 2 solutions:

1. Start one end high up, and just zip wire down the whole time. Would need a ladder/platform at the start

2. concrete a wooden pole into the ground as a closer end point to reduce any wire sagging.

Are there any other options?

Thanks,

John
