Garden play equipment - winter care

Posted by: georgia, 10-Sep 18:55
Now that we are on the cusp of winter, should I be doing anything to protect the outdoor play equipment? We have a slide, a swingset, a zipwire and a trampoline.

It's not really practical to dismantle the trampoline, but we will make a point of covering it fully (it already has a cover on it).

But what about the zip wire? Do we need to put any grease on? or anything like that?

we had our zipwire put up last year and didn't do anything to it; it still works OK this year. I reckon that the handles will get brittle after a few years, but we'll see...

How can I find someone to install a zip wire for me?
